OK George! Studio’s official agency launch event took place in August 2016 at the Irish Embassy Pub, located on Bishop Street in Downtown, Montreal. The successful event was a beautiful memory for our agency, and we owe the pub a great deal for that.
Unfortunately a few years after that event, the pub shut down because of a fire. However, some meaningful history can still be shared!
We met Paul Quinn, the owner of the pub, thanks to our agency’s affiliations with the United Irish Societies Of Montreal, as he held the honorary role of Grand Marshall of Montreal’s 193rd St. Patrick’s Parade. As one of the organization’s official spokespeople, he naturally had a lot to say about the Irish culture.
A friendship was ignited, and Paul generously hosted our launch event, philanthropically encouraging a young entrepreneurial filmmaker, George Karkour (our agency founder). In in-kind solidarity, our agency produced the establishment’s promotional televised broadcast to be enjoyed by the pub’s patrons. Photographically, we captured their top-selling menu items on a stylistically innovative black backdrop, rendering the photos with a unique visual signature.
