Bab Sharqi was a Syrian-Mediterranean Mezze and Grill restaurant.
The restaurant offered a wide variety of traditional Damascene food and was known for the beautiful traditional decor, warm service and welcoming staff. The restaurant hosted many community events such as engagements, parties, birthdays and Oud nights.
In particular, the beautiful venue served as a gorgeous backdrop for one of OK George! Studio’s documentary productions. Our agency filmed an “Interfaith Roundtable” where some of Quebec’s community leaders representing 5 different religions discussed race relations for our documentary film Colours From Outer Space. The result was simply magnificent and we definitely invite you to watch the full film!
